This is the Second Remake of the original movie "The Last Man" with Vincent Price. The previous remake was called "The Omega Man" with Charelton Heston. "I am Legend" was a line taken from "The Last Man".

Literally the Last man on Earth is Robert Neavil, the only surviving member of the human race ammune to a pleague that either kills you or turns you into a rabid vampire like creature. The undead zombies in this version of the remake make the other zombies look like they came from Sesame Street. Unlike the Omega man, which was caused by a bacterialogical war. In this version someone finds a cure for cancer by genetically engineering a measles virus into cancer fighting virus. Oops, this virus mutates and turns into something else and whipes out the human race.

It is starting look like "The Last Man" = "The Omega Man" = "I am Legend" are trying to use current political arguements as the basis for the story line.

The Mist

A Stephen King mystery thriller that exposes the cruel things people will do when they are faced with their worst fears and death, as a large group of people get stuck in a Grocery store when this mystery mist ingulfs everything outside the store, and kills anything that enters the mist. The biggests mystery is; what is this wierd mist with strange creaters poping in and out of it. Must watch the movie to find out.

Don't worry Stephen King will find some way of blaming the American Military for the mist.

There are 21 million people put under every year, about 30,000 are awake but paralized during the surgary and can feel every nick and cut during the surgary. This movie is about one person's struggle while put under and paralized, but wide awake and aware of a botched surgery gone wrong, but eventually survives anyway.
